Meridian Leisure Park successfully retains Park Mark

A leisure facility in Leicestershire has been awarded the Park Mark Safer Parking Award from the British Parking Association.

The presentation was made on Tuesday 19 March, at Meridian Leisure Park. Police Constable Stuart Clough from the Thorpe Astley and Braunstone Town Dedicated Neighbourhood Team was asked to present the award.

On presenting the award, PC Clough said; “We enjoy a close working relationship with the security team at Meridian Leisure Park and are only too pleased to have been involved with the presentation of this award.

“The award reflects their continued high standards and excellent work in making a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for their customers.”

Michael Gardner, British Parking Association Area Manager, said: “The Meridian Leisure Park has deservedly achieved the Park Mark Award yet again and this should be congratulated. This is testament to the hard work that goes on behind the scenes and a real sense of pride in maintaining the standards required. The 24/7 Security presence and quality of the staff are no doubt a very positive factor in maintaining standards for the benefit of their customers”.
